Privacy notice
Last updated: 15 October 2026
This notice explains how Sierra Madre Environmental Ventures Corp. (“SMEVC”, “we”) handles personal information sent to us through this website. We handle it in line with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).
Who we are
Sierra Madre Environmental Ventures Corp., SEC Reg. No. 2025060206130-21, Guimba Agricultural Learning Center Bldg., Purok 3, Maturanoc, Guimba, Nueva Ecija. For anything about your personal information, email legal (at) smevcorp.com.
What we collect
When you use the contact form: your name, email address, organisation (optional), the topic you choose and your message.
When you visit: like any website, the services that deliver it receive technical details such as your IP address and browser type. This website does not set its own cookies and does not use analytics or advertising trackers.
Why we use it
Only to read and reply to your message, and to keep a record of our correspondence. We do not use it for marketing, we do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell it.
How it is handled
Your message is sent straight to the right SMEVC inbox (general, partnerships or legal) as an email. It is not stored in a database on this website. Before it is sent, an automatic check confirms the message is from a person and not a bot.
Who receives it
- SMEVC staff and officers who answer the inbox your message goes to.
- Brevo - sends the form message to our inbox.
- Cloudflare - runs the bot check on the form and delivers email sent to our smevcorp.com addresses.
- Vercel - hosts this website.
- Esri (ArcGIS) and Amazon Web Services - supply the satellite imagery and terrain for the 3D map. Your browser requests these directly when you view the map.
These providers may process data outside the Philippines.
How long we keep it
We keep your message for as long as we need it to deal with your inquiry and to keep a record of our correspondence. You can ask us to delete it at any time (see below).
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act, you have the right to:
- be informed about how your personal information is processed;
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- have inaccurate information corrected;
- have your information suspended, withdrawn, blocked, removed or destroyed where the law allows;
- obtain a copy of your information in a commonly used electronic format;
- be indemnified for damages caused by its misuse; and
- lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.
To use any of these rights, email legal (at) smevcorp.com.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and its date.
